In September, cbec attended and the 13th Annual CASQA conference to join our project team in accepting the 2017 Outstanding Stormwater Research Project award.
We are extremely proud to have been an integral part of the award winning team that conducted the project “Assessing the Risks of Using Dry Wells for Stormwater Management and Groundwater Recharge”. cbec staff Ben Taber, Rafael Rodriguez, Will L’Hommedieu, Chris Campbell and Chris Bowles worked diligently to develop innovative surface water sampling and measurement methods, and spent numerous wet, cold and windy night shifts sampling in Elk Grove!
CASQA is the largest professional association dedicated to stormwater quality issues. For over a quarter century, CASQA has assisted municipalities, special districts, businesses, the state of California, and the United States Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) in developing and implementing effective stormwater quality management programs in response to municipal, industrial, and construction National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) stormwater permit requirements.
