We are thrilled to announce that construction has commenced for the Lower Long Bar Restoration Project that cbec designed! Over 7 years of planning with South Yuba River Citizens League, Cramer Fish Sciences, and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, has culminated in a project that will enhance critical habitat for Chinook salmon and steelhead on a roughly 50-acre portion of Long Bar in the lower Yuba River. The design features floodplain lowering, side channel enhancement, riparian planting, and large woody material placement. More at SYRCL.
