As cbec’s Office/Business Development Manager, Emily assists with company operations, human resources, health and safety, marketing, and opportunity acquisition. She joined the cbec team with over eight years of expertise in the graphic design and project management fields. In addition to ensuring the overall functions of the company run smoothly, Emily coordinates both internal and external business development efforts, and manages the online presence of the company. She spearheads and streamlines the opportunity acquisition process, which involves the researching, tracking, evaluating, and documentation of business development opportunities. She regularly works with a variety of team members to assemble and design proposals for potential clients, and events. Recently, Emily has expanded her design capabilities with ArcGIS, creating GIS-based figures to accompany reports and provide visuals for a variety of uses. Emily received her Bachelor in Graphic Design from California State University, Sacramento, and her associate’s from Sierra College with an emphasis in Graphic Design and English.
