Jon completed his BS in biology at the University of California, Santa Cruz before pursuing an MS in civil engineering at San Jose State University. His studies covered topics such as hydrology, hydraulics, and sediment transport. Since entering the professional world, Jon has been involved primarily in fish passage improvement, environmental rehabilitation, and erosion control projects. His scope of work on these projects included initial fieldwork, hydrologic analysis, hydraulic modeling, design work from conceptual to final, and record surveys. Jon’s software experience includes AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and ArcGIS. Jon also has substantial experience with total station and GIS survey equipment.
