cbec provided hydraulic impacts assessment and USACE and Caltrans permit support on this two-mile multi-use path along the American River that recently began construction. The project worked team on behalf of the City of Sacramento to craft a project plan that creates continuity in the pathway, while providing a valuable link between downtown Sacramento and neighborhoods of East Sacramento. This concept is part of cbec’s service line “sustainable flood risk management” which aims to understand and manage flood risk where human and natural systems intersect.
