Technician I
Daniel brings a skillful eye in troubleshooting and superior repair knowledge to cbec. His duties range from data collection, fleet and office support, to field service fabrication. He is becoming skilled with bathymetric and topographic surveying, operating ADCPs for discharge measurements, and various other field techniques. Recently, he has begun training in AutoCAD so he can play a support role to the company’s many design endeavors. He regularly assists with general improvement projects around the office, as well as thorough research on long term efforts. Daniel also serves as cbec’s on-site IT technician, working closely with IT management to ensure that various company technology is running proficiently. Daniel incorporates his deep knowledge of all things mechanical and electrical to maintain assorted field instruments and fleet vehicles for his fellow technicians. He is well-versed in equipment issue diagnosis and repair, with focus on quality and efficiency. He is familiar with the upkeep of various technologies, such as passenger vehicles, small tractors, small engine equipment, and computers. Daniel derives profound satisfaction from working with his hands and power tools to improve and modify systems, which is a major part of his personal time spent.
