The Southport Multi-Objective Flood Control and Habitat Restoration Project was featured in the American Society of Civil Engineers‘ (ASCE) Civil Engineering Magazine. This collaborative levee setback and restoration project was a cornerstone endeavor for cbec, and an ambitious undertaking for all entities involved. As specialized subconsultants to HDR, GEI, and AECOM, cbec provided geomorphic and hydrodynamic modeling services, as well as ecological habitat design. We are honored to see this project get the exposure it deserves on the ASCE national stage! Full article here.
